11-year-old Paula Weston is found asphyxiated to death in a park, but her body had been moved after death. Paula had a history of mental illness and severe behavioral problems, which were getting worse; her adoptive mother Janet was struggling to cope. When it's discovered that Janet lied about being home at the time Paula was killed, she is arrested. The detectives find out that on the night of Paula's death she and Janet had visited Dr Stahl, an alternative therapist who promised to help Paula. Stahl practices \"rebirthing\" therapy, which involves a child being wrapped tightly in a blanket and forced to fight their way out to symbolize being \"born\" again into a fresh start.
The bludgeoning of two women in their apartment leads the detectives to a suspect who has taken a hostage while demanding legal representation ... and Southerlyn's actions, while heroic, results in disbarment proceedings against her for violation of Disciplinary Rule 1-102.
After being removed from her home, seven-year-old Candace, born Candace Tiara Elmore, was adopted by Jeane Elizabeth Newmaker. However, Candace didn't react well to her new environment and Jeane eventually brought her to a therapy session led by Connell Watkins.
After finding Owen in his trailer, falling-down drunk, surrounded by bottles of alcohol, Amelia took off running, and she's been avoiding him ever since. He goes to Meredith's house to apologize in person for putting newly-sober Amelia in that position, but her response is heartbreaking. She appreciates his apology, but says she can't trust it won't happen again. \"It's not your fault... you're just not in this with me. So I can't do this with you, not right now, maybe not at all.\"
Jackson thanks his mother for talking to April even after he told her not to, because whatever she said caused April to reach out to him. He's troubled when Catherine reveals she manipulated April to gather evidence against her, and wants to go after her for fraud.
Meredith explains to Major Will Thorpe she freaked out because he's the first person she's been with since she lost her husband, and she's just not ready to date yet. He agrees to back off for a while, but promises he will be calling her again. \"I'll be waiting, 'til you're ready, because I'm pretty sure you're worth waiting for.\"
Children, children - let's play nice and try to 'just get along'.While watching AA last night I received an epiphany from the Akashic record - Gobleki Tepe is actually Atlantis!!! It is so obvious - The circular waterways were really circular configurations of T-shaped columns. The Pillars of Hercules in this case were not Gibraltar, but the \"Pillars of Hercules\" pizzeria in Macedonia. (That damn Atlantean language is full of ambiguous words). The Goblekis did not destroy their own structures - the Greeks went to war against them and burned them down. The Greek general Testicles was ridiculed and demoted when he returned home victorious for wasting resources on such a backwater as Gobleki. Its amazing how the Atlantis legend got better and better with every telling. Fake news at its best!
Elsewhere, Ukitake shields his eyes from the sun, saying that he may faint again if it carries on like this. He tells Sentarō that he is going to take a nap. Kiyone runs back from going to the toilet to find Sentarō building a sand wall around the Captain. When she asks him what he's doing, he tells her he's protecting Ukitake from the salty breeze. Kiyone retorts that it's the sun that's the problem, not the wind, so she runs off to pick some flowers to protect him from the sun. Sentarō also runs off, but to get some incense so that the captain can sleep more soundly. Isane, Unohana and Nanao are seen looking down at something, which turns out to be Ukitake sleeping in a flower-filled sand coffin, with incense burning. Orihime, Sado and Uryū walk over carrying lunch and spread it out beside the 'coffin'. Nanao notes how it looks like a funeral, and Unohana states that Ukitake's team is clearly the winner. While debating whether or not Ukitake was even competing, vine-like tentacles creep up behind their ankles.
Franklin \"Frank\" A. Grimes, Sr., \"Grimey\" or \"Stretch\", (born 1962) (died May 4, 1997) was an employee of the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant and the self-declared enemy of Homer Simpson. Grimes served as the main antagonist of the episode Homer's Enemy. Frank Grimes was a hard worker, who had to earn everything in life the hard way. He was also irritable, grumpy, and easily annoyed, particularly by the actions of his co-worker, Homer.
Grimes was said to be unmarried, but he happened to have a son named Frank Grimes, Jr. who was born as a result of one of Grimes' visits to an unnamed hooker. Grimes' son grew up and became a mechanic known as \"Junior\".[1]
Despite his animosity towards Homer, Grimes held no grudge against the rest of the Simpson family; as he stormed out of their house, he briefly turned back and politely said that it was nice meeting them before leaving.
In a non-canon appearance for the game The Simpsons: Tapped Out, it is revealed that the electrocution only left Grimes in a coma. He was buried alive and, upon waking up, learned to meditate in his coffin. He dug himself out of the grave sometime later and returned to Springfield, where Homer attempted to befriend him again.
For some reason, Ramona seems not at all upset with Sonja, who we last saw making a tossed salad out of a mirrored table, using her stilettos as tongs. She just wants Sonja to remember what she did, whereas she wants Leah to rue the day she was born for daring to dance at a birthday party. But when Leah realizes that Ramona's response to their fallout is going to be ostracizing her, she is having exactly none of it. \"I've seen Ramona's nasty side firsthand,\" Leah says in her testimonial as the editors flash back to a scene from Rhode Island where Ramona made a huge point of saying they all had such wonderful daughters, listing off Sonja's daughter, Luann's daughter, and so on one-by-one, until finally Leah said, \"What about my daughter\" and Ramona sniped back, \"I don't know your daughter.\"
Leo wakes up in the cell in the cave, right next to Marcus, who knocked him out. Brooke tells Judy that she and Daniel were meant to be. We flashback to everyone discussing the plan in the lab. While they're at dinner, Max is going to call Jason and tell him that he thinks he's found Emma's chess set in the Ravens' clubhouse, to make him think he might've taken the wrong one. He goes to his office to see if someone has taken the chess set. Daniel spills on Brooke's dress, and she pretends to leave to clean it. In reality, she follows her brother to see exactly where he hid the chess set. She claims she wants stain remover for her dress, and bumps into him. He drops the chess set, and the pieces fall onto the floor. She helps him pick it up. She takes the white knight pieces, and replaces them with exact replicas that Max made. After all that, Max texts Jason that it wasn't Emma's chess set. Brooke hands the pieces over to him. At the cave, Leo says that he'll do what Marcus asked, and leaves. He seems hypnotized at first, especially with the dialogue choices and monotone voice. Max examines the chess pieces, and Brooke and Daniel return to the clubhouse, where Alex is waiting. Max finds a chip in one of the pieces. Eric and Perry are making sure Max doesn't reach Emma. Her new phone is tapped. Carter overhears them talking about the Greenhouse. They claim it's paperwork from the taser investigation. Carter read their report though, which said it ultimately wasn't connected to the Greenhouse. He notices Perry wearing a ten grand Rolex watch. Eric says it's probably a fake. At the lab, Alex, Hayley, Max, Jackie, Daniel, and Brooke meet up to find out what was on the chip. It's a video of Emma from the night she left the Greenhouse. She apologizes for lying, and says she hacked into the NASA servers on the day of the launch and brought down the satellite. She did it all from his laptop, and that's why she was late. His laptop can access encrypted sites that normal ones can't, and he showed it off to Emma to impress her. She says Jason told her to do it. He said he was working for the government on a classified project, but that was a lie. He never told her they were going to shut down the satellite. He threatened to kick her out, and then she agreed to leave after she called NASA. She doesn't know who he's working for, but she knows he's not alone. She tells Max to be careful, and to trust no one. Alex wants to go to the police. All they have is Emma's confession though. It's still her word against Jason's. He and Judy are working together, and it has something to do with Ryan's research. Daniel looks it up, and says she had a Ph.D. in geophysics at Caltech. CSL is mentioned in her obituary from the LA Times. That's the Caltech Seismological Laboratory. Seismology is the study of earthquakes. Brooke remembers hearing Marcus talk about an earthquake in the cave. They knew the earthquake was coming. Eric talks to the chief. I finally found out that his name is David Diggs. Eric claims that Carter's paranoia is coming back. Alex wants to tell Brandon Thomas about the satellite, but Brooke wants to tell her dad first. The others remind them that Emma said to trust no one. Brooke remembers that Eric was the one who took her to the cave. It really shakes everyone up to know that people close to them, people they thought they could trust with anything, are involved. Parents, siblings, friends. Alex tries to warn his dad, but he declines the call. He breaks into Eric's computer, but he's caught. He knows he and Perry are hiding something. He opens the envelope, and realizes that Eric stole the letter. He attacks him, and the chief dismisses him. Hayley can't get to him either. Daniel decides to go to the cave and tell his mom that he knows everything, but the
